Audio Processing Centre was inaugurated on 25.10.2006 at 9.30 am at Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The Inauguration ceremony was attended by Managing Trustee, The Chief Executive (PSG & Sons Charity), PSG Institutions, The Principal, HoD - EEE department and HoD’s and Professor’s from other departments. Chief guest of the function was Mr.D.Vidhya Prakash, Managing Director, Coimbatore Poineer Fertilisers. He cut the ribbon at 9.30 am and declared open the centre. The Chief guest Mr.D.Vidhya Prakash evinced keen interest in the construction of the anechoic chamber and its properties. He also showed interest in knowing about various equipments used in the centre and their functions. He enquired about the role of the centre and project behind the creation of the centre. He and the other dignitaries were shown around the centre and its various facilities by the Principal Investigator Mr.S.Suresh Kumar and the Co-investigator Mr. J. Kanakaraj. The Managing Trustee was interested to know how the project is being done.        

 After showing the facilities of audio processing Centre, the dignitaries were invited for a flash presentation on Audio Processing Centre by the Mr.S.Suresh Kumar screened at LAPP Cable Centre, EEE Dept. All the viewers highly appreciated the quality and content of the presentation. At the end of the presentation snacks were offered to the dignitaries. Other guests who visited the centre are: Dr.A.Kandaswamy, Co-ordinator, Product Development Centre, Dr.P.Radhakrishnan, Vice Chancellor, Vellore Institute of Technology, Dr.Ganesh Devaraj, Managing Director, Soliton Automation.
