Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) Department was one of the first few      disciplines that were started since the inception of the college in the year 1951. New courses were introduced subsequently and the existing ones were restructured to reflect the state of the art. Under EEE there are UG Programmes (regular & sandwich), PG Programmes and PhD research Programmes. Department is equipped with modern devices and instruments in Electrical Machines Lab, Instrumentation & Control Lab, Power Electronics Lab, Analog Electronics Lab, Digital Electronics Lab, Computer Centers (for UG & PG) and a library. Also, the department houses centers of excellence like    PSG – L & T Center in LV Switchgear and PSG – Lapp Centre in Cable Technology.
