The Center for
Supply Chain Management at CMU which was established in 2002 is a valuable
statewide business resource for applied research, industry information, and
professional services related to supply chain management.
This innovative
center links faculty and students from business and engineering for conducting
research, consulting, and training along the supply chain in Michigan's
various industries. Using faculty expertise and leadership as well as the
intellectual contributions of students, the Center provides a win-win
situation for all. Business receive low-cost research and experiences are
enhanced, and faculty members become more aware of current issues facing
practitioners.
The Center
benefits the State of Michigan and the University. The regional
development of supply chain management programs is consistent with
both Michigan's economic objectives and CMU's educational goals.
