PSG Centre for Sponsored Research and Consultancy was established in 1989 in order to foster industrial consultancy and research. Consultancy work and testing of materials / products are being done for several Government and private industries and organisations by all the departments of the college through the centre.

        All the Departments and Centres of the PSG College of Technology are carrying out Research, Consultancy & Testing activities ever since the College was established. PSG Tech is a very good example for Industry - Institute Interaction with a Manufacturing Industry, PSG Industrial Institute located in the same campus. PSG Tech offers a unique Sandwich Degree programme in which the students have course work as well as Industrial Training exposure side by side parallely every day.

        The Consultancy, Testing & Research activities carried out by the various Departments and Centres are detailed in this booklet.
