The inaugural function of ICAMM 2014 held on 03.01.2014 at 9.00am was presided by Dr. R. Rudramoorthy, Principal, PSG College of Technology. The chief guest of the function was Prof. B. D. Choi, Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, South Korea.
The response to the conference was exceptionally encouraging. The Conference attracted 142 participants. It is truly an international in scope, and counts academic, research, and government organizations among its participants from various countries like South Korea, USA, Oman, Australia, Netherlands, Italy, Malaysia, Belarus, Bangladesh and national participants from various organizations like Indian institute of Technologies, National Institute of Technologies and from number of well reputed universities.

ICAMM 2014 received 102 research papers out of which 63 papers were accepted after stringent review by two reviewers with strong background in the respective domains. During the three days of the conference there were 11 technical (Parallel) sessions. The technical sessions were well represented by the delegates. The highlight of the conference is naming of the technical sessions after the great legends of mathematics and matching the theme of the sessions with their distinct contributions such as Ramanujan, Erlang, Poisson, etc.,.
The proceeding was published in CD format. The papers presented in the conference will be forwarded to the International journal of Operational Research IJOR, indexed by Scopus and published by Inder Science and National Journal of Technology published by PSG publishing house for further review and publications.
