The Institution

PSG College of Technology instituted in the year 1951 by PSG & Sons' Charities Trust, is a Government aided autonomous institution affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. The college is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC & NBA. The Institution offers 18 UG, 26 PG courses and Doctoral programmes in the field of Science & Technology and Management.
The Institution works closely with the Industry, with industrial training being an inherent part of the curriculum, giving the students, opportunities to learn from experience. Various programmes for studying abroad, exchange and internship offered here create a valuable learning experience. PSG Tech stands out from its contemporaries due to its strong alumni network. The success stories behind the coveted positions that alumni occupy in the organizations and as entrepreneurs across the globe today are very inspiring.
Research and Development in the college receives special thrust, especially with the establishment of 'Centres of Excellence' with prominent industry leaders. It actively collaborates with Industry, Research Institutions and Universities world over in various disciplines by way of joint academic programmes, research projects and training. The Institution has evolved into a notable centre for advanced studies and research in several areas of Engineering and Technology in the country.

DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department is one of the few disciplines which exist since the inception of the college in the year 1951. New courses were introduced and the existing ones were restructured to accommodate the recent developments. Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) has been playing a vital role in producing scientists and technologists of high caliber and would continue to do so in the future. The department offers UG (Regular and Sandwich) programmes, PG programmes (Applied Electronics, Power Electronics & Drives, and Embedded & Real - Time Systems), and Research programmes. The department has highly qualified faculty members who contribute towards the research and innovation. State of the art facilities enable the department to provide support to R&D organizations.

DEPARTMENT OF ROBOTICS AND AUTOMATION ENGINEERING

Department of Robotics and Automation Engineering (RAE) was established in the year 2011 to meet the growing demand for trained manpower in the field of Robotics and Industrial automation. Robotics and Automation Engineering is an inter-disciplinary course tailored to develop superior quality robotics and automation talent for manufacturing, defence, food, aerospace, medical and service sectors. The department has competent and committed academicians supported by professionals to enhance the quality of the program. The department also hosts several Centre of Excellence (CoE) that are actively involved in research & development projects and consultancy services. The department has organized conferences and workshops that enable the students and faculty to access the latest trends in Robotics and Automation.

    Paper Submission

    Prospective authors are invited to submit original unpublished research manuscripts that demonstrate current research in the specified areas. The full paper submission should be done through Easy-Chair conference submission portal. All submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and research content, correctness, relevance to conference, readability, significance, presentation, and references. The submissions should be in English with at most 10 printed pages using the conference template.


    Publication

    All the papers presented at ICOEM 2020 will be published in the form of Proceedings and the selected papers meeting the journal requirements will be published in any one of the peer-reviewed UGC Care Journals/Scopus Indexed Journals/ Clarivate Analytics Journals.
