Arrpeec - III

Specific objectives and research problems being addressed in ARRPEEC III are:

Issue 1: Estimation of GHG emission in selected SMIs

Expected outcome:

>>GHG emission in selected sectors of SMIs in each country.

>>A report for each sector, comprising, cross-country comparisons of the GHG emission in selected SMIs, development of technical and policy options to mitigate the GHG emissions, E3STs and recommendations for promoting the E3ST.

Issue 2: Study of Barriers to overcome for the promotion of E3ST in SMI

Expected outcome:

>>For each country, each sector, the policy options to overcome the barriers, which inhibits E3ST

>>A report for each sector, which should have, at least, lists of barriers, policy options, E3ST, and recommendations       for promoting E3ST

Issue 3: Techno-economic analysis of E3STs

Expected outcome:

>>For each country, each sector, few technically and economically viable E3ST options

>>A report for each sector, which should have, at least, lists of E3STs and brief description, cross-country    comparisons of the prioritized TFS, policy options, E3ST, and recommendations for promoting the E3ST
