Fine Arts Club
The fine arts of PSG TECH consists of four wings namely Drawing and Painting, Philately, Photography and Multimedia. As a bee seeks the inherent honey of the new born flowers, Art brings out the hidden talents and creativity from the young active spirits. The DAP events include OVIUM- An Intra collegiate Drawing and Painting Competition, XEROX-Pencil Sketching competition and PICASSO -An Intra Collegiate Art Exhibition. The PHILATELY wing of FINE ARTS CLUB conducts various competitions such as PHILL TRILLS an Intra college QUIZ competition, Philatriva puzzle program for students, display of exhibits of stamps for students and conducts many off-stage events like Collage, First day cover design, Stamp design, Memory contest, Name the countries, Wonder waste during Intrams and Renaissance.It also conducts a “ ONE DAY WORKSHOP ” program LOVURE and sessions for students to enhance the philatelic skills. In the photography section there is a digital slr camera which no other photography club of other colleges have. We do photo coverages and photo shoots. The newly included wing is the Multimedia which calls for techians expose and acquire multimedia skills. The activities of Multimedia wing include Logo design, Web design, Flash contest and conducting multimedia courses.
